It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Sly (Mingo, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on May 3, 2019, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G. Sly and Jeanetta Bear-Schamerhorn (Braford); and his siblings, Jim Sly and Becky McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Roxanna Sly; his children, Karl (Kim P.) and Kim; his grandchild Greyson; his daughter Chihuahua; his pet Coco; his brothers, Mark Sly and Earl Schamerhorn; and also, Zach, Raymond and Daltin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
