He is survived by: his spouse Brenda G. (Johnston); his children, Sarah E. Drew of Milton, Boston of Milton, Emma of Milton and Drew-Grablewski (Michael) of Milton; his grandchild Jersey Grablewski; his siblings-in-law, Leslie Morrison of Falmouth, Andrew Johnston (Vicki Woodard) of Somerville and Douglas Johnston (Eileen) of Weymouth; and his friend Joseph Devlin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and Cousins.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Boston Police Relief Assn 1249 Hyde Park Ave, Hyde Park, MA 02136.
