He is survived by: his wife Mindy Bales of Milo; his children, Audra Bales (Jerad Souer) of Milo, Alisha Thornton (Robert) of Carlisle, Jared Draper (Kim Thornburg) of Des Moines and Randa Carnes (Mike) of Indianola; and his sister Anita Bales of Alexandria, Virginia.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
