It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis I. Martin of Milo, Iowa, born in Bussey, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Parker and Pearl Parker; her children, Patti Chumbley and Arvin Wayne Hoksburgen; and her sisters, Maxine Bonnett and Josephine Van Rees.
She is survived by: her former husband Allen Hoksburgen; her husband Calvin Martin; her sons, Brad Martin and Daryl Hoksburgen; her son-in-law Gary Chumbley; her grandchildren, Shannon Hommer (Walter), Garrett Chumbley (Tiffany), Kyle Shelley, Dana Martin and Sarah Martin; and her great grandchildren, Macey Dennis (Bryce), Alex Hommer, Seth Chumbley and Luke Chumbley.
Memorials may be made in care of Phyllis' family Interment will be later at the Belmont Cemetery near Milo.
