He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oakley and Mary Oakley (Kunz); and his pet Koda. He is survived by: his wife Marie Oakley; his children, Shane Oakley (Erin) and Erica McKasson (Korey); his grandchildren, Madysen, Quinten McKasson and Remington Oakley; his siblings, Denny Oakley (Michelle), Jim Oakley (Cathy Vanderlinden), Joe Oakley (Sandy), Lex Oakley (DeAnn) and Ann Newby (Tim); and his in-laws, Kathy McDonald, Tom Norem (Lori) and Tony Norem (Karen).
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Milo (201 Walnut St, Milo, IA 50166). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
