He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Higgins and Lucile Higgins; and his wife Elizabeth Higgins (Wallace). He is survived by: his children, Jacob Howard, Susan Conzata (Paul) of Bellevue, NE, Sheri Joellen (Cheryl), William Thomas (Linda) of Eagle Point, OR, Joy Elizabeth of Des Moines, IA and Marion Duane. He is also survived by 4 children, 17 grandchildren, 33 of his great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Jacob E. Higgins Memorial Fund at the Regions Bank in Indianola, IA.
