He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Ohnemus (Gruebel); his siblings, Maxine Mary and Delbert Ohnemus; his sister-in-law Dr. Adaline McCormick Ohnemus; his brother Dean Ohnemus; his brother-in-law Jim Howe; and also Merrill Glass.
He is survived by: his father Guy Ohnemus; his nephew Duane Ohnemus; his wife Kathleen; his children, Cecilia Ohnemus, Loretta Ohnemus and Lyle Ohnemus (LuAnn); his sister-in-law Juanita Ohnemus; and his friend Floyd. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made to Milo Fire & Rescue, St. Augustine's Catholic Church, or St. Jude's Hospital.
