He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Sinclair and Nora Myers Sinclair; his daughter Kelli Sly; his grandson Gavin; and his brother James "Jim" Sinclair.

He is survived by: his son Brady Sinclair of Waukee; and his sister Kathy Mincks (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be made in care of his family to be designated at a later date.
