He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Overocker and Lena Overocker (Tlam); and his wife Joyce Mitchell. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jennifer Hynek (Chuck) of Colbert, WA, Angela Jager (Jeff) of Rock Rapids, IA, Kelli Hagedorn (Brandon) of Spirit Lake, IA, Leah Postma (Ryan) of Sheldon, IA, Jacey Jira (Wade Schoenfelder) of Mt. Vernon, SD and Zane Jira of Hartford, SD.; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Connor Hynek, Ella, Emery Jager, Kyler, Kameron, Karsen, Kadeix Hagedorn and Lydia Postma; and his brother Lyle Overocker of Milford, IA. He is also survived by his 5 daughters.
