He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughter Deb Thilges (Nick) of Owasso; his grandchildren, Nicole Riggs (Andy) and Jordan Arnold (Brett); his son Brian DeRuyter (Beth) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Abbey DeRuyter and Drew DeRuyter; his son Scott DeRuyter (Sheila) of Arnolds Park; his grandchildren, Zach DeRuyter, Dustin DeRuyter, Noah DeRuyter, Ella DeRuyter and Olivia DeRuyter; his daughter Lisa Arrowood (Chris McNab) of Okoboji; his grandchildren, Kaycee Christensen (Jordan), Rylie Arrowood, Mason Arrowood, Avery Arrowood and Finley McNab; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Conner Riggs, Parker and Cohen Arnold; and his siblings, Ed DeRuyter (Rose) of Rock Valley, Rich DeRuyter (Beckie) of Verona, Missouri, Mary Bryant (Joe) of Rock Valley and Marcy Chapman-Ahrens (Greg) of Jackson, Minnesota..
