He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarice Beekman (Stark) and Ross Beekman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beekman; his children, Barb Scoles (Carl), Lisa Kraus (Rick), Dirk Beekman (Rebecca), Dan Beekman (Lisa) and Bill Beekman; his grandchildren, April Ramsey (Mike), Amy Strempke (Ryan), Brett Kraus (Brittany), Tad Beekman (Brenda), Ellie Beekman, Cody Beekman, Trevor Beekman, Eloise Beekman and Arlo Beekman; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Ramsey, Liam Ramsey, Iyla Strempke and Ollie Kraus.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of John can be given to Lakes Regional Hospice.
