She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver "Ollie" P. Bennett and Rowena "Row" D. Burson Bennett; and her husband Thomas DeSpain. She is survived by: her former husband Leif Henning Lågeide; her friends, Doug Eihousen and Jeremy Reynolds; her daughter Leah Gaylen Laageide; her sisters, Jean Kenner of Marshalltown, IA, Cassandra "Cass" (Samuel Williamson) of Charlevoix, Michigan and Carla Marsh (Jim Godberson); and her nieces and nephews, Lee, Ben Kenner, Jessie, Carl Williamson and Hunter Marsh.
