He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Zinn and Joyce Zinn (Vogt); and his brother Jerry Zinn. He is survived by: his wife Mora Zinn of Milford; his son Damon Zinn of Colorado Springs, CO; and his brother Larry Zinn of Texas.

Memorials may be made in Gary's name and designated to The HAPI Board (Historic Arnold's Park).
