He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Koelder and Luella Koelder (Rodemeyer). He is survived by: his children, Renee Boehnke (Jim), Christine Dusold, Dawn Ericson (Jon) and Thomas Koelder (Erica); his grandchildren, Kelsey Hernandez (Manuel), Andrew Boehnke, Joshua Simkins, Brandon Simkins (Michelle), Lindsay Truax (Devon) and Cooper Ericson; his great grandchildren, Eli, Maverick and Marshal; and his sister Arlis Koelder.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
