With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jane (Tuntland) Swenson (Milford, Iowa), who passed away on January 17, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Tuntland and Marcella Tuntland of Beresford, SD; and her close friends, Cathy and Wayne Hoffman of Motley, MN.. She is survived by: her nieces, Stella Tuntland, Andra and Jacque Huiner (Jenny Hoffman); her brother Paul Tuntland (Kathie Fox) of Brookings; her nieces and nephews, Dereck (Katie Medema), Jacqueline Huiner and Brock Tuntland; her brother David Tuntland (Linda Rogness); and her nieces and nephews, Jarrod, Jordan and Justin Tuntland.

“I miss her so much! She was the kindest and sweetest godmother to me always, never missed a birthday or holiday, she is missed dearly and her kindness is remembered always by all of us who knew Dorothy. If i had to guess, she is probably at peace resting not far from the rainbow bridge with all her beloved animals she cared for so dearly. God has another angel in heaven.”
