As David Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Maranell and Darlene Maranell (Coffman); and his wife Bonnie Halstead. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Maranell (Mary) of Stonington, CT, Denise Loring (Lonnie) of Spencer, IA and Debra Maranell of Ankeny, IA; and his daughter Myranda Tischer of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1305 Okoboji Ave, Milford, IA 51351). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2104 225th St, Milford, IA 51351).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwest Iowa Humane Society.
