He was predeceased by: his parents, William Puetz and Leona Puetz (Heissel); his daughter Sandra Thillen; his grandson Ryan Lawrence; and his brother Francis Puetz.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Flynn of Merrill; his children, Mike Puetz (Cindy) of Cornville, AZ, Jeff Puetz of Sioux City, IA, Julie Lawrence (Dan) of Mapleton, IA, Wendy (Doug) and Arb of Maple Lake, MN; and his siblings, Dave Puetz of Le Mars, IA, Tom Puetz of Lincoln, NE, Marge Black (George) of Le Mars, IA, Donna Norkitis of Baltimore, MD and Mary Ellen Farin of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
