It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Carlson (Merrill, Iowa), who passed away on January 23, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandy Carlson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Small and Margaret Small; and her brothers, Harley "Butch" Small and Charlie Small. She is survived by: her husband Lynn; her son Eric Carlson (Jamee) of Hinton, IA; and her grandchildren, Ben Crosby (AL), Amanda Crosby (AL), Glen Carlson (IA), Tate Carlson (IA), Puff, Cash and Rawlings.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy has asked that a donation be made to June E. Nylen Cancer Center (Sioux City, Iowa), as she wants to help others continue their battle with breast cancer.
