He is survived by: his children, Kathy Balmer of Le Mars, Sheryl Chrestiansen (Wayne) of Estherville, IA, Steven Balmer (Melanie) of Le Mars, LeighAnne Bohlken (Dan) of Le Mars and Keith Balmer (Rosa) of Gooding, ID; and his sister Beverley Crum of Sioux City, IA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
