He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Carlson (Petersen) and Alfred Carlson; his wife Sandy Carlson; and his brothers, Don and Darrell Carlson.
He is survived by: his son Eric Carlson (Jamee) of Hinton, IA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Crosby of Gainesville, GA, Amanda "Peanut" Crosby of Anniston, AL, Glen Carlson and Tate Carlson of Hinton, IA; and his sisters, Delores Townley (Lynn) of Hinton, IA and Erma Comstock of Roseville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the L.A. Carlson Memorial Fund to be designated by the family at a later date.
