He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Hecht and Violet Hecht (Anderson); and his sister Helen Hecht. He is survived by: his wife Erma Hecht of Merrill, Iowa; his daughters, Diana (Tim Gehman), Susan Hecht (Len White) and Cathy (Patrick Kearney); his grandson Brogan Kearney of Sergeant Bluff, IA; and his siblings, Collette Hughes (Skip) of Arnolds Park, IA and Ralph Hecht (Karen) of Merrill, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
