Eldon Bray Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Bray of Merrill, Iowa, born in Elma, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burrell Bray and Lenora Bray (Tezloff); his parents-in-law, Cyril and Audrey Brownmiller (Leesley); his wife Kathy Bray; his sister Shari Vetter (Donald); his siblings-in-law, Margaret Gaul (Doug), Jim Brownmiller, Timothy Brownmiller and Merle Wilken; and his nephews, Scott Wilken and Alan Scott.

He is survived by: his niece Marsha Duncan (Bill) of Charles City, Iowa; his nephew Eric Vetter of Charles City, Iowa; his siblings-in-law, Jeanie Wilken of Le Mars, Iowa, Dan Brownmiller (LaVonne) of Le Mars, Iowa, Joyce Brownmiller of Le Mars, Iowa and Pam Brownmiller of Le Mars, Iowa; his close friends, Wayne Kolbeck and Nancy of Le Mars; and his nieces and nephews, Tammi Allmendinger (Alvin), Irena Scott, Lisa Erdmann (John), Amy Davis (Gabe), Brent Brownmiller (Theresa), Hope Majeres (Andy), Todd Brownmiller (Carrie), Bart Brownmiller (Angie), Brian Brownmiller (Jessica), Dawn Brownmiller (Nate Renken) and Brett Brownmiller (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Royal C Johnson Veteran's Memorial Hospital in Sioux Falls.
