He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Halstrom and Edith Halstrom (Anderson); his siblings, Milton, Ruby Pixler (Max), Marvin Halstrom (Sharon), Arlene Carlson (Delbert), Phyllis Smith (Roger), Lorraine Mortenson (Robert) and Deloris Halstrom; and his brother-in-law Tom Steele.
He is survived by: his sister Bernice Steele of Spirit Lake, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
