She is survived by: her mother Mildred Kleihauer (Hughes) of Cherokee, Iowa; her husband Dean Halstrom of Meriden, Iowa; her sons, Jason Michael (Allison) of LeMars, Aaron Halstrom (Diana) of Sioux City and Alan Halstrom of Meriden, Iowa; her granddaughter Emma Michael of LeMars, Iowa; and her sisters, Lynette Hyndman (Patrick) of Cherokee and Jolene Smith of Correctionville, Iowa..
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Evangelical Free Church (1207 450th St, Meriden, IA 51037).
