She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Emerson and Emma Jane Emerson (Scott); her sister Janet; her brother-in-law Arnie Clifton; and her son-in-law Jeff Meiners.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Meiners of Carroll and Bill Messinger (Sarah) of Casey; her grandsons, Will Meiners and Calhoun Messinger; her husband David Messinger of Casey; and her siblings, Carol Wilkinson (Jerome), Jim Emerson and Jeanie Wallace (John). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
