He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Mary Hicks and West of Menlo; his brother Robert; his siblings-in-law, Wanda and Orrin Sweet; and his niece Donna Sweet.
He is survived by: his sister Arlene M. Sweet; and his nieces and nephews, Diane Sweet, Vicki Lowe (Dan), Mark Blomquist (Heidi) and Kevin Blomquist. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
