She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Kurtz and Nettie Ray Kurtz; her husband Melvin; her siblings, Laverne, Emery Kurtz (Muriel), Estelle Hendricks (Francis) and Gladys Graham (Harold); and her sister-in-law Mildred Kurtz.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Watts (Les) of Des Moines, IA and Lowell Monke (Candy) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Mitchell Monke, JoEllen Watts, Jackie Watts, Bill Schaefer and Bradley Watts (Mary); and her great grandchildren, Maria (Nick), Michael (Emma), Katherine (Clint), Madeleine and Amelia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
