She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Galema and Gladys Galema (Haack); and her sisters, Janet and Karen. She is survived by: her husband Ken Schlichting; and her children, Susan Schlichting of Davenport, IA, Noah, Brady and Cynthia Schlichting (Brian Carlson) of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
