With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Lee Karnes (Melvin, Iowa), born in Wayne, Nebraska, who passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dea Karnes and Viola Karnes (Rasmus); his brothers, Delbert and Keith Karnes; and his niece Jessica Stanwick.
He is survived by: his sister Judy Stanwick (Doug) of Dakota Dunes; his niece Jennifer Stanwick-Klimek (Josh) of Yankton; and his great-niece Alexis Klimek. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law; along with several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
