He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris and Selma; his wife Virginia; his grandson Matthew; his brothers, Robert and Michael Christopher; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Sullivan, Tony Sullivan, Suzanne, Louise Sullivan and Lucy Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Jackie) of Plano, Tim, Tony (Dana), Danny (Christy), John (Jodi), Jan Romanco (Mark) of Des Moines and Steve (Amber); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Sullivan of Ankeny, Nancy, Des Moines and James Sullivan of Ankeny. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
