He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Knoll and Verena J. Knoll (Vanderah); and his brother Steven Knoll. He is survived by: his sister Chris Hayes (Joe); his nephews, Jason Hayes (Monica), Andrew Hayes (Allison) and Kyle Hayes (Chelsie); and his niece Lesa Kehoe (Craig).
