Gene Scieszinski Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2020, at the age of 71, Gene Scieszinski (Melrose, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Scieszinski and Evelyn Scieszinski (Crall); his siblings, Ray Scieszinski, David Scieszinski and Lucille Sullivan; and his parents-in-law, Jimmy and Martina Sinnott.

He is survived by: his wife Patti Sinnott of Melrose; his children, Jeff Scieszinski (Carisa Driscoll) of Des Moines, Justin Scieszinski (Michelle) of Melrose and Juli Scieszinski (Brian Pennington) of Lucas; his grandchildren, Jayce, Aidan, Gavin, Emily, Tanner and Leah; his brother Don Scieszinski (Joan) of Grandview, MO; his brother-in-law Jimmy Sullivan of Ankeny; and his brother Donnie Sinnott (Toots) of Albia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to the family in Gene's name, and will be delegated at a later date.
