He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Klages (Barry) of Melcher and Tammy Mahrt of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Jamie Harvey, Mandy Klages (Brett), Laura Gale, Leslie Smith (Nick), Madison Klages and Nettie Mahrt; his siblings, Vera Baldwin (Wesley) of Anthon and Jim Kelsheimer (Shirlene) of Anthon; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Waters of Melcher and Marvin Bingham (Fonda).
