He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Goldsmith and Alta Goldsmith; his former wife Helga Bommert; his children, Michael Goldsmith (Debbie) of Waterloo, Patricia Fawks (Eric) of Lenexa, KS, Rick (Saborah) of Olathe, KS and Kim Goldsmith of Melcher; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Cory, Hailey, Garrett, Emma and Nick; his brother Brice (Norma) of Oelwein; and his goddaughter Amy Woodson.
