He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Donna Jean Richardson Spoon; his grandparents, Harold and Mabel Richardson; his wife Chyrl Lundgren Fox; his siblings, Harold Spoon and Dana Spoon-Ewing; his children, Jennifer Fox of Davenport, Iowa, Jessica Enfield (Mike) of Melcher, Iowa, Crystal McCain (Jeremy) of Oskaloosa and Aaron Spoon of Arizona; his grandchildren, Damien Fox, Gabe, Max, Zeb Enfield, Tresure Spoon, Shadie Spoon, Rebel McCain, Tanya, Kristina, Jerimiah McCain, Makayla and Hayden Bolin; and his sisters, Sharon Krouse of Winterset and Betty Faulkner of Council Bluffs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Melcher-Dallas Fire & Rescue Unit or to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
