Flavian Hoch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 100, Flavian Hoch (Melcher-Dallas, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Hoch and Veronica Hoch; his grandson Johnny Obirek; and his siblings, Marcella, Laureen, Geneva, Eleanor, Ivola, Norbert, Virgil, Gilbert and Claude.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine White (Jody); his daughters, Lynnette Jensen (Ron) and Cheryl Hoch (Eric Evans) of Cedar Rapids; his grandsons, Jason Obirek of Scottsdale, AZ and Nick Obirek (Shelli) of Ocala, FL; and his great grandchildren, Aldyn, Sheridyn and Nolan Obirek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Melcher-Dallas or the Melcher-Dallas Fire & Rescue.
