It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryl Dee Wright of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa, born in Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clif Wright and Ruth Wright (Hawk); his former wife Roberta; and his siblings, Deloris and Doyle.
He is survived by: his wife Nora; his children, Scott Wright (Heather), Bill Wright (Abby), Roger Wright (Melodie), Greg Wright (Sarah) and Heidi Wright; his grandchildren, Sean, Alexandra, William, Luke, Gracie, Nate, Becca, Sammie and Christina; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Pierce, Florence, Elowyn, Delmer and Freya; his stepson Kevin DeReus (Jodi); and his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan DeReus (Patsy), Emily Turner (Justin), Sarah Krispense (Josiah), Benjamin DeReus and Katelyn DeReus. He is also survived by seven step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dee's name can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
