She was predeceased by: her parents, Clell Lacey and Frances Halferty Lacey; her stepmother Freda Lacey; her uncle Edward; her aunt Florence Halferty; her brother Jim Halferty; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Carruthers and Mike Osborn.
She is survived by: her sons, Chad Remster (Autumn), Jason Remster (Melissa) and Cory Remster (Ashley); her grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle), Larry, Seth, BrieAnna, Austin and Oliver; her great grandchild Jonesy; her siblings, Caryol Lacey Morrow, Sherry Carruthers, Judy Osborn, Pat Halferty (Sandy) and Linda Fenley (Keith); and her sister-in-law Elaine Halferty. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Melcher (203 E Center St, Melcher-Dallas, IA 50163). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
