Thelma Hillyard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Hillyard (Mediapolis, Iowa), who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Wilson and Estella Wilson (Stewart); and her husband Leon Hillyard. She is survived by: her daughters, Harla Peck (Ernie) of Wapello, Carolyn Gerling (Bob) of Mediapolis and Cindy Koop (Mike) of Mediapolis; and her sister-in-law Theresia Wilson of Burlington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established at the funeral home in Thelma's memory.
