He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Vantiger and Angela Vantiger. He is survived by: his wife Freida Sanburg; his children, John Vantiger (Jodi) of Mount Union, Teresa Friedel (Mick) of Mediapolis and Tom Vantiger (Lori) of Peosta; his grandchildren, Jordan, Ross, Whitney Vantiger, Justin, Matt Friedel, Aubrey, Bryn and Kaitlyn Vantiger; and his siblings, Jim Vantiger, Fred Vantiger of Mount Union and Wilma Anderson of Mediapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
