It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bean of Mediapolis, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bean and Lila Bean (Rettowksi); his wife Cheryl Bean; and his siblings, Jerry, Danny, Jim Bean and Janet Beik.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Bean-Jordan (Scott) of Mediapolis, Jacklyn Kapsch of Oklahoma City, OK, Josh Todd (Emily) of Oklahoma City, OK and Tabitha Nesbitt of Ft. Madison; his grandson Richard Cochran of Mediapolis; his children, Catherine, Chloe Jordan of Mediapolis, Katelyn, Trevor Kapsch of Oklahoma City, OK and Devon Todd of Oklahoma City, OK; his great grandchild Rayden Cochran; and his sisters, Cathy Coen of Burlington and Gayle Sholfe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
