She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Eubanks and Hazel Eubanks (Hamilton); her stepfather Harvey Hemphill; her husband Alfred William Jackson; her grandson Robert William Fromm; her son-in-law Alan Sergeant; her sister Thelma Edwards; and her stepsiblings, Jerry Hemphill and Donna Bras.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Fromm (Steven Patterson) of West Burlington, IA and Christine Sergeant of Longmont, CO; her granddaughter Kathy Bonser (Jeremy Klenk) of Mediapolis, IA; her great grandchildren, Andrew and Gage Bonser; her stepbrother Dennis Hemphill (Louise Hemphill) of Charleston, RI; and her pet Sambo.
A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society or the Mediapolis Ambulance Service.
