Mary Honson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2020, at the age of 88, Mary Honson of Mediapolis, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Honson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Oberly and Mable L. Oberly (Foster); her spouse Lyndell Honson; and her brothers, Dean, John Jr., Lewis, Andy, Jesse and Marvin.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Honson (Pam) of Dodgeville and Kathy Strawhacker (Mark) of Wapello; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lane (Brad), Patricia Whitaker (Toby), Sarah Jurgill (Mike) and Scott Strawhacker (Charity); her great grandchildren, Sam Lane (Josie), Liz Lane, Olivia Whitaker, Camden Whitaker, Isaiah Whitaker, Ryker Whitaker, Avery Jurgill, Jered Gerot, Jena Gerot and Wyatt Strawhacker; and her brothers, Lloyd Oberly of Mediapolis and Donald Oberly.
All those who attend the service are required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines for everyone's safety.
Memorials may be given to Great River Hospice House, the First United Methodist Church of Mediapolis or the Mediapolis Ambulance Service in memory of Mary.
