It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Marie Lundeen of Mediapolis, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 96, on February 22, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Tiemann and Nima Tiemann (Hutchins); her husband Kenny; and her siblings, Harold Tiemann and Doris Irvin.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Frasher (Michael) of Oklahoma City, Sally Jack (Jeff) of Wapello and Rick Lundeen (Teri Watt) of Davenport; and also Jerry Tiemann of Copperas Cove, Texas.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home - Mediapolis (712 Main St, Mediapolis, IA 52637). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mediapolis Library in memory of Helen.
