He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wyss and Ione Gladys Wyss; his wife Kathryn Evans; and his siblings, Douglas Wyss, Dan Wyss, Ralph Anderson, Mark Anderson, Joyce Noirot and Judy McKinney.
He is survived by: his uncle Max; his aunt Martha Perdelwitz; his children, Dan Wyss (Dana Lu Royer) of Morning Sun, Terri Hutcheson (Jay) of Morning Sun, Tom Wyss (Brenda) of Morning Sun, Roger Wyss (Sandra) of Morning Sun and Rick Wyss (Carol) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Jason Hutcheson (Jaime), Mandy Solomon (Scott) of New Braunfels, TX, Jessie Peters (Craig), Megan Scott (Josh), Nicole Rodriguez (Dan), Katelyn Wyss (Nolan Hagerty), Jordan Hutcheson and Jacob Wyss (Taylor); and his sisters, Sandra Mathis of Missouri, Linda Newton of Missouri and Penny Anderson of Missouri. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mediapolis Ambulance Service or the Apostolic Church World Relief and Missions Fund in memory of David.
