He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene and Barbara Jean Griffith (Swafford); his brother-in-law Mike Ecklund; and his mother-in-law Judy Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Laura Thomas; his children, Nichole Ensminger (Patrick), Skyler Griffith (Sara), Brittany Schneiderman (Josh) and Bailey (Jarrod Schneiderman); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ensminger (Caleb Potts), Libby Ensminger (Jack Martin), Ben Ensminger, Delaney, Ava Griffith, Bryar, Jaxon Schneiderman and Brynn Schneiderman; his siblings, Debbie Smith (Bill), Denise McCulley (Mark), Eric Griffith (Debbie), Beverly Ecklund and Amy Gabeline (Dan); and his father-in-law Keith Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Bethel Cemetery upkeep and the Mediapolis Ambulance Service.
