He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Sonny" Hartl and Madonna Hartl (Meskimen). He is survived by: his wife Jeri; his children, Josh Hartl (Carlee) of Pleasant Hill, Jeremy Hartl (Lindy) of Central City and Melissa Burnett (John) of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Olivia, Graysen, Gage, Bianca, Bridger, Alara, Clara and Baby Burnett; and his siblings, Cindy Spivey of Tiffin, Kathy Snyder (Ken) of Ely and Dennis Hartl (Jill) of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (302 Reeder St, Mechanicsville, IA 52306). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Rose Hill Cemetery (311 Reeder St, Mechanicsville, IA 52306).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family in honor of his memory.
