He is survived by: his father Matthew Polhamus; his stepmother Lorraine Polhamus; his brothers, Justin Polhamus (Danica) of Alburnett, Ryan Steinberg of Mechanicsville and Adam Bauer (Heather) of Dubuque; his nephews, Robbie, Ricky, Randy Bauer, Gunner Steinberg, Cooper and Wyatt Polhamus; his great-niece Olivia Shaw-Bauer; his uncles, Steve Anderson (Liz) and Jeff Anderson (Diane); his close friends, Stefanie McLagan and Scott Saul; and his children, Kyla, Aiden and Payton Hansen. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in Joel's name and may be directed to the donor's choice.
