It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Moravek of Mechanicsville, Iowa, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lela Barcus; her spouse Russell Moravek; her daughters, Sharon Pickering and Dianne Moravek; and her brother George Barcus.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Moravek (Julie) of Iowa Falls, IA, Mary Moravek of North Liberty, IA, Robert Moravek (Tammy Klinkkammer) of Mechanicsville, IA and Denise Konigsmark (Richard) of Blairstown, IA; and her son-in-law Doyle Pickering. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
