It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy (Dottie) S. Petersen (Mechanicsville, Iowa), who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Clifton Emrich and Antoinette Ruth Stepanek. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Stevenson (Jeff) of Atlanta; her grandsons, Mathew and Eric Stevenson; her daughter Julia Prohaska (Kevin); her grandson Zachary Prohaska (Suzanne); her great grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Lily of Richmond and Virginia; her grandson Jordan Prohaska (Katie) of St. Louis, Missouri.; and her sister-in-law Betty Emrich. She is also survived by Wife, devoted Mother, spoiler of Son-in-Laws, and loving Grandmother and Great Nana.
